Funny quotes are the hardest to pin down, because a good line gets reattributed to whoever’s name makes it funnier — Twain, Wilde, Churchill, take your pick. Half the fun of this category, honestly, is finding out a joke you’d have sworn was Twain’s was actually said by someone nobody’s heard of.I’ve tried to verify these the same way I verify the serious ones.
